Warsaw Woman Charged with Five Counts of Petit Larceny in Livingston County

On 01/04/2018, State Police from SP Geneseo received a larceny complaint involving a charity organization that collected goods for needy families. A lengthy investigation revealed that numerous items were missing which were collected and were to be donated to the charity organization. The victims were identified from a donation list and interviewed. The allegations and subsequent investigation showed that Amberlee M. Veihdeffer, age 30, of Warsaw, altered a donation request list. Numerous items were donated by victims and Veihdeffer kept possession of those items. The items included toys, pants, shirts, gift cards, and other miscellaneous merchandise. On 03/11/2018, Veihdeffer was arrested and charged with 5 counts of petit larceny. She is scheduled to appear before the Geneseo Village Court on 04/03/2018 at 5:00 p.m.
