Man arrested following a domestic dispute in Morristown

On April 10, 2018, at approximately 7:30 p.m. State Police responded to Claxton-Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg, for report of a victim that was injured during a domestic dispute that occured at a residence in Morristown. 
The female victim stated 61-year-old Jude J. Holland (male) hit her in the mouth with an open hand during an argument, causing a minor injury to her mouth.  Holland’s actions violated an order of protection against which was issued from Morristown Town Court and remains valid until July 2018.
Holland was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree. He was arraigned in Oswegatchie Town Court and was remanded to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with no bail. A new order of protection was issued.
