Teen arrested for Making a Terroristic Threat

On April 13, 2018, the New York State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Princetown arrested a 15-year old male for Making a Terroristic Threat. 

On March 28, 2018 SP Princetown BCI members received a report of a 15-year old male student who made threatening comments while in class at Cobleskill High School.  During the investigation it was discovered that the male student spoke of attempting to obtain a rifle and shoot towards the school from the parking lot outside of the school. 

Subsequent to interviewing parties involved which included the 15-year male student it was determined that there was no imminent viable threat or danger. 

The youth was arrested for Making a Terroristic Threat (D-Felony) as a Juvenile Delinquent and was issued a Schoharie County Family Court appearance ticket and follow up with Schoharie County Probation.
