Concerned motorist calls 911 about an erratic operator

State Police in Saratoga arrested Allen J. Brozowski, 30, of Rensselaer, NY for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vhicle in the Town of Malta on April 4, 2018. While on patrol, Troopers were advised by State 911 dispatch that an erratic operator in a maroon Jeep Cherokee was traveling southbound on State Route 9. Troopers observed the vehicle failing to stay in its lane on several occasions and then jump the curb as it attempted to pull over for the Troopers. Upon interview of the driver (Brozowski), alcohol was smelt emanating out of the vehicle. The investigation revealed that Brozowski had been drinking alcohol earlier in the evening. Subsequently, he was given several standard field sobriety tests and arrested for DWI. Brozowski was later tested to have a 0.09% blood alcohol concentration however due to his condition a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) was called in to evaluate Browzowski. It was determined that he was also on other narcotics while drinking alcohol and then operated said motor vehicle. He was scheduled to appear in the Town of Malta Court on April 12, 2018.
