Failure to use one’s blinker ends with DWI arrest

PRESS RELEASE
 

State Police in Saratoga arrested Matthew D. Briggs, 34, of Ballston Spa, NY for Driving While Intoxicated in the Town of Milton on April 15, 2018. While on patrol, Troopers were on Geyser Road when they witnessed a black Honda Accord turn onto a side street without a signal. Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop, Briggs was operating the vehicle and displayed multiple signs of possible alcohol impairment. He was subsequently given standard field sobriety tests and then arrested for DWI. The rest of investigation revealed that Briggs possessed a controlled substance as well. Subsequently, he was arrested for DWI and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. Briggs is expected to appear in the Town of Milton Court on April 24, 2018.
