Christie Gonzalez  

Buffalo, NY – On April 14, 2018, at approximately 12:11 p.m., State Police were dispatched to the Peace Bridge located on I-190, in the City of Buffalo for a possible intoxicated driver. The driver of the vehicle, Christie M. Gonzalez, age 30, of Rochester, NY, was found to be intoxicated while traveling with two children under 16 years old in the vehicle. She was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Buffalo, where she submitted to a breath test to determine the alcohol or drug content in her system which returned a reading of .15%. She was subsequently charged with:   
 
  • Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child under 16 years old in the vehicle; a Class E Felony (2-counts)
  • Driving While Intoxicated; a Unclassified Misdemeanor
  • Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC .08% or more of Alcohol; a Unclassified Misdemeanor
 
Gonzalez was released on tickets which were made returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on April 25, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. Gonzalez was turned over to a sober third party.        
 
The children were turned over to a responsible party.
