Troopers arrest Burlington man for DWI after domestic dispute

(Burlington, NY – April 16, 2018) – On April 13, 2018 at about 11:30 p.m., New York State Police at Richfield Springs arrested Everett Brooker III, age 39 of Burlington, NY for the felony of Driving While Intoxicated (prior conviction) with a reported B.A.C of .16%. He was also issued several traffic tickets.
Troopers were originally called to a domestic dispute on State Route 51 in the town of Burlington. While troopers were in route to the dispute, they were advised by Otsego 911 that Brooker left the dispute on a motorcycle and he may be intoxicated.
Troopers located Brooker operating the motorcycle on Gardner Rd. and he was subsequently arrested.
Brooker was arraigned in the town of Richfield Court and was released on his own recognizance. He was turned over to a sober third party and is scheduled to reappear in the town of Burlington Court on April 16, 2018.
