A Pair of Schenectady Man Arrested for Stealing from Kohls in Clifton Park after a Traffic Stop

On Monday the State Police in Clifton Park arrested 41-year-old Claude Anderson, of Schenectady, for shoplifting from 3 different stores after a traffic stop. Mr. Anderson was witnessed taking electronics from Kohl’s, in Clifton Park, and leaving the store without paying for the items. He left in a vehicle where the vehicle and the license plate were observed and was given out to patrols. A Saratoga Sheriff’s Deputy located the vehicle on Aqueduct Road in Niskayuna. Police interviewed Mr. Anderson and observed other items in the vehicle that were determined to be stolen form Kohl’s and Bonton’s in Wilton. He was also found to be in possession of Marihuana.
He was charged with 3 counts of Petit Larceny and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. He was issued an Appearance Tickets for 3 different courts and turned over to Guilderland PD who had an active warrant for him.
