Pair from Watervliet arrested after reported road rage incident.

Investigators with the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in Latham have arrested Phillip O. Quandt Jr., 50, and Kristen P. Wright, 51, following an investigation into a reported road rage incident occurring on May 10, 2018 at approximately 3:11 P.M.
Quandt and Wright were each charged with Criminal mischief in the second degree, a felony, along with Reckless endangerment in the second degree and Menacing in the second degree, both misdemeanors.
The reported incident began westbound on Alternate Route 7 in the Town of Colonie before continuing first northbound then southbound on Interstate 87 and resulted in a vehicle being intentionally damaged.
Both were arraigned in the Town of Colonie Court where an order of protection was issued for the complainants.
Mr. Quandt was remanded to the Albany County Jail on $10,000 bail and Ms. Wright was remanded to the Albany County Jail on $5,000 bail. Each will re-appear on a later date.
The investigation into this incident is continuing and no additional details of the investigation are available at this time.
