Troy man arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd, & Resisting Arrest

On May 12, 2018, the New York State Police in Brunswick arrested Devin A. Caldwell, age 18 of Troy NY, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd, and Resisting Arrest.

On May 11, 2018 SP Brunswick Troopers received a complaint of a stolen vehicle from a residence located in the Town of Brunswick.  The complainant stated his vehicle was stolen sometime between the evening of May 7, 2018, and the morning of May 8, 2018. The vehicle and Caldwell were located in a parking lot on River Street in the City of Troy.  After a brief foot pursuit involving Troopers and Troy Police Officers, Caldwell was taken into custody and arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd (D-Felony), and Resisting Arrest (A-Misdemeanor). 

CALDWELL was arraigned in Troy City Court and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail on $10,000 cash/bond.
