Three get arrested after traffic stop in Auburn.

PRESS RELEASE

On June 6, 2018, Troopers out of SP Auburn arrested Steven J. Laramee, 27, of Lafayette, New York for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and illegal signal-less than 100 feet, Michael W. Dwyer, 41, of Auburn, New York for criminal possession of a controlled substance-7th, and Akeem L. Cotton, 25, of Syracuse, New York for criminal possession of a controlled substance-7th, criminal possession of a controlled substance-5th and false personation.

Laramee was stopped on Williams Street in the City of Auburn for using an illegal signal.  Passenger, Dwyer, was found in possession of a controlled substance and a glass pipe.  Passenger, Cotton, was found in possession of two controlled substances and a glass pipe.  Laramee was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the City of Auburn Court on June 29, 2018.  Dwyer was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Auburn Court on June 22, 2018.  Cotton was arraigned at the Owasco Town Court.
