On June 12, 2018, Troopers out of the Wilton Barracks observed a vehicle broken down on Route 197 in the Town of Moreau. Troopers stopped to check on the vehicle and interviewed the two occupants, Joseph Felterolf and Sara Peterson, who had inconsistent stories. After an investigation, assisted by the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department K9, Troopers located approximately 8 ounces of marihuana, a small quantity of MDMA, LSD and psychedelic mushrooms inside the vehicle. Both suspects were arrested without incident on numerous counts of drug possession. Both were arraigned in the Town of Moreau Court and released on bail to appear at a later date.
