Scotia man arrested for possessing cocaine during a traffic stop in Guilderland.

Troopers for New Scotland and Investigators from SP Latham arrest a 53-year-old Scotia man for possessing cocaine. 

James H. Gage Jr. was charged with Class D Felony of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (CPCS) 5th and the Misdemeanor of Bail Jumping 3rd after a traffic stop on State Route 20 in the Town of Guilderland during the early morning hours.  During the traffic stop GAGE, a passenger, was found to be consuming alcohol inside the vehicle which lead to the cocaine being discovered. 

Also charged in the investigation was the 38-year-old driver of the vehicle TYESHEA Y. CRAWFORD of Albany, who was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation.  Another passenger, 47- year-old ANTHONY F. CONTE of Clifton Park, was charged with CPCS 7th, a Misdemeanor. 

Both CONTE and CRAWFORD were released on Appearance Tickets returnable in the Town of Guilderland Court.  Gage was arraigned in the Town of Guilderland Court.
