PRESS RELEASE

(Oneonta, NY – June 29, 2018) – On June 28, 2018 at approximately 9:14 p.m., New York State Police at Oneonta arrested Michael B. Swantak, age 33, of New York Mills, NY for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree. 
 
While on patrol, a trooper observed Swantak commit several vehicle and traffic infractions while on Interstate 88 and State Route 205 in Oneonta.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation revealed that Swantak’s license had been suspended 21 times.  He was subsequently arrested and arraigned in the town of Oneonta.  Swantak was released on $250 cash bail and is due back in court on July 19, 2018.
