Traffic stop leads to the arrest of a woman found to be driving with a suspended license, in possession of marihuana and controlled substance.

PRESS RELEASE
 
On June 26, 2018 at 3:45 PM Troopers out of SP Batavia arrested Brittany A. Young, 23 of Buffalo, NY for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, unlawful possession of marihuana, aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree, and speed in zone. 

Troopers stopped Young on State Route 77 in the Town of Darien for speeding.  While interviewing the driver, Troopers detected the odor of marihuana emanating from the vehicle.  Young was found to be driving on a suspended license and was also found to be in possession of marihuana and a controlled substance.  Young was placed under arrest and arraigned in the town of Darien Court. 

Young posted $500.00 cash bail and is to return to the town of Darien Court in July 2018.
