A Virginia man is in custody at the Albany County Jail today after New York State Troopers were tipped off that he was hiding out in the Hilltowns of Albany County. 

New York State Police Investigators from the Latham barracks state that Andrew Jeffers, age 47, of Roanoke, Virginia was sought by the US Marshalls and Roanoke County Police Department regarding his involvement in a murder and robbery in Roanoke County, Virginia on May 19th, 2018.  Jeffers was one of four suspects involved in the robbery gone bad. 

He was taken into custody yesterday morning by Troopers without incident and arraigned in the City of Albany Court.  His extradition to Virginia is pending.
