White Plains, NY man arrested after pursuit with New York State Police.

Roberto A. Robles


Mamaroneck, NY – On July 4, 2018, at approximately 8:40 a.m., State Police attempted to stop a vehicle on I-95, in the town of Mamaroneck for a vehicle and traffic violation. The vehicle being operated by Roberto A. Robles, age 20, of White Plains, NY failed to comply and evaded the traffic stop at a high rate of speed. After the pursuit was initiated the vehicle attempted to exit I-95 at exit 18 but lost control and struck a guiderail. The vehicle was rendered disabled; Robles was taken into custody without further incident. He was also found in possession of approximately 4 grams of Marihuana. He was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown. No breath test was administered due to a refusal by Robles. He was subsequently charged with:
 
  • Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor
  • Resisting Arrest; a Class A Misdemeanor
  • Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor
  • Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs; an Unclassified Misdemeanor
  • Unlawful Possession of Marihuana; a Violation
  • Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle 3rd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor  
  • Reckless Driving; a Unclassified Misdemeanor  
  • Multiple vehicle and traffic violations
 
Robles was arraigned in the Town of Mamaroneck Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1000. Cash or $1000. Bond. No return court date available at this time, no injuries reported.
