September 29, 2018 - Troop G SP Queensbury

    
The New York State Police arrested two subjects following a criminal investigation. The State Police in Queensbury were contacted regarding two individuals who were passing forged checks at local banks in the recent week. Following an investigation, Alphonso L. Howard Jr. and Javonte J. Johnson, both subjects who reside in Decatur, GA, were each charged with the felonies of one count of Grand Larceny 3rd degree, one count of attempted Grand Larceny 3rd degree, 2 counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd degree and the misdemeanor charge of Conspiracy in the 5th degree. Both subjects were arraigned at the Town of Queensbury Court and were remanded to the Warren County Jail.
