Rochester man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

On September 30, 2018 the New York State Police, SP Rochester arrested Alexis A. Romero, a 31 year old resident of the Town of Webster for DWI.  The arrest was in connection with a 2 car property damage auto accident that occurred on State Route 104 near St. Paul Street in the City of Rochester.  Romero was following too closely behind a vehicle westbound on Route 104 and struck the vehicle in the rear.  Romero showed signs of intoxication and failed standardized field sobriety tests that were administered.  Romero provided a positive PDT test roadside of .16%.  He was placed under arrest for DWI and refused to provide a breath test sample at SP Rochester.  Romero was issued UTT’s and appearance ticket for City of Rochester Court on October 15th at 9:30AM.
