3 get arrested on drug charges in Sennett.

On October 4, 2018, Troopers out of SP Auburn arrested Michael G. Chappell, 41, of Auburn, New York for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, inadequate exhaust system, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance not in an original container and criminal impersonation, Kenneth A. Murray, 38, of Auburn, New York for unlawful possession of marijuana, and Vyonna J. Elliott, 23, of Auburn, New York for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Chappell was stopped on State Route 5 in the Town of Sennett for having an inadequate exhaust. He was found to be driving on a suspended license and in possession of a baggie containing pills not in an original container. Passenger, Murray, was found in possession of a baggie containing marijuana and passenger, Elliott, was found in possession of baggies containing MDMA. Chappell was arraigned in the Town of Sennett Court and released. He is scheduled to reappear on October 10, 2018. Elliott and Murray were issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Sennett Court at a later date.
