On October 5th, 2018, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Christina Guinnane, 39, of Jamestown, for four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Guinnane was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for a traffic violation and while speaking to Guinnane, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Guinnane and the vehicle revealed a bag containing marijuana, three marijuana cigarettes, six Xanax pills, 2.5 Lortabs, two different types of Adderall pills and a black gravity knife. All of the pills were controlled substances for which Guinnane did not have a prescription. Guinnane was placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed. Guinnane was then issued appearance tickets and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court later in the month.
