Wallkill, NY man arrested for possessing cocaine and marihuana subsequent to a traffic stop.

Woodbury, NY – On October 11, 2018, at approximately 9:15 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the town of Woodbury for vehicle and traffic violations. While interviewing the driver of the vehicle in regards to the traffic violations, probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established. The driver, Dale P. Martin, age 47, of Wallkill, NY, was found to be in possession of cocaine and marihuana. Martin was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Newburgh, where he was subsequently charged with:    
 
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree; a Class D Felony (cocaine)
  • Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 5th degree; a Class B Misdemeanor
  • Vehicle and Traffic Violations
 
Martin was arraigned before the Town of Woodbury Court and released on his own recognizance. Return court date of October 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. has been set in the Town of Woodbury Court.
