Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

On October 12th,2018, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Jasmine Buttray, 30, of Erie, PA, for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
The Troopers pulled over a vehicle on I-86 in Randolph for speeding and while speaking to the occupants, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle and its occupants, passenger Buttray was found to be in possession of marijuana concealed in a newspaper clipping. Buttray was issued an appearance ticket and the driver was issued a speeding ticket. Buttray is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court later in the month.
