Two arrested on traffic stop on Worcester

(Worcester, NY – October 18, 2018) – On October 17, 2018 at approximately 10:52 a.m., New York State Police at Oneonta (Interstate Patrol) arrested two people after a traffic stop on Interstate 88 in Worcester. A trooper monitoring the Interstate observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop. After an investigation both the operator and passenger were arrested after drugs and paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.
The operator of the vehicle, Zachary R. Lushkevich, age 30 of Laurens, NY was arrested for the misdemeanors of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the second degree. He was also issued several traffic tickets.
Passenger, Katarina A. Lushkevich, age 26 of Laurens, NY was arrested for the misdemeanor of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. She was also issued a traffic ticket.
Both were released on appearance tickets returnable to the town of Worcester Court on October 30, 2018.
