Salamanca man arrested for menacing, assault, weapons, drug charges

On October 19, 2018, SP Olean Troopers arrested Eric J. Harrison, 24, of Salamanca, NY for Menacing with a Weapon, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Assault, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Troopers responded to complaints of a series of incidents at residences in the town of Great Valley. Their investigation revealed Harrison had threatened a person with a knife and caused property damage at one location, assaulted another person at a separate location, and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine during his arrest in the city of Salamanca.

Harrison was arrested and arraigned in Little Valley Town Court. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $7,500 bond.
