Syracuse, NY man arrested for being in possession of over 500 grams of Marihuana subsequent to a traffic stop.

Schodack, NY – On October 24, 2018, at approximately 8:57 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90, in the town of Schodack for several vehicle and traffic violations. During the interview of the driver for the traffic violations, probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established. The driver Tristian A. Masterpol, age 20, of Syracuse, NY was found to be in possession of approximately 505 grams of marihuana, Forged Driver License, approximately 36 grams of concentrated cannabis, approximately 5.6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. Masterpol was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, where he was subsequently charged with:
Masterpol was arraigned in the Town of Schodack Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $25,000. Cash or $50,000. Bond. A return court date of October 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. has been set in the Town of Schodack Court.
