Car Pedestrian Hit and Run - * UPDATE*

State Police in Clifton Park have confirmed that the vehicle involved in a hit and run accident on October 27, 2018 is a 2007-2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. The vehicle is silver blue in color. Below is a photo of a piece of the vehicle found at the scene, it is provided as a color reference. A sample photo of 2007-2010 Hyundai Santa Fe in Silver Blue, is provided as well.

The involved vehicle is believed to be a gray or blue Hyundai Santa Fe, between model years 2007 to 2009.


The New York State Police in Clifton Park are investigating a one car pedestrian serious personal injury accident, where the vehicle left the scene. The accident occurred on Crescent Road at the intersection of Lapp Road in the Town of Clifton Park.  The unknown vehicle struck a 21-year-old male pedestrian in the crosswalk and left the scene eastbound on Crescent Road. The pedestrian was transported to Albany Medical Center, and is currently listed in stable, but serious condition. The only description available of the vehicle is a blue/gray Hyundai with extensive front passenger side damage. The New York State Police are seeking the public’s assistance, and anyone with information is asked to contact 518-583-7000.
