Troop B Commander
On October 28, 2018, at approximately 11:15 p.m., State Police investigated a car crash on State Route 9 in the town of Elizabethtown. After observing the vehicle operating at a high rate of speed and swerving between lanes, the vehicle lost control and ran off the roadway into a ditch.
The operator and sole occupant, 20-year-old Jamison S. Decker of Elizabethtown, was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. Decker was also found in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and open containers of alcohol were located in the vehicle. He sustained lacerations to his head and was transported to the Elizabethtown Hospital, where he consented to give a blood sample to test for the alcohol and drug content of his blood. Upon Decker’s release from the hospital, he was transported to SP Lewis and arrested for DWI and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Decker was released with appearance tickets returnable to Elizabethtown Court.
