State Police release names involved in the three car fatal motor vehicle accident which occurred on I-287, Eastbound in the City of White Plains.

White Plains, NY – On Monday October 29, 2018, at approximately 1:27 a.m., State Police responded to the area of I-287 Eastbound in the City of White Plains for a report of a three car serious injury motor vehicle accident.
The investigation revealed that V-1, a 2018 Nissan SUV being operated by Patricia Jimenez-Gaylor, age 49, of Mamaroneck, NY was traveling eastbound in the left lane of I-287, in the City of White Plains. V-2, a 1991 Ford F550, being operated by David J. Arndt, age 49, of Carmel, NY was stationary in the left lane relative to the construction project. Operator of V-1, Jimenez-Gaylor for unknown reason struck the rear of V-2 and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Operator of V-2 was treated for minor injuries on the scene and released. During the accident V-2 was pushed forward by the impact into V-3 another construction vehicle and sustained damage. Operator of V-3 was uninjured.
The accident is still under investigation.
