Schaghticoke woman arrested for damaging property

State Police in Brunswick arrested 21 year old Tiffany P. Marriner of Melrose for Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and Aggravated Harassment 2nd Degree on Wednesday (10/17/18). A Trooper responded to a residence in Schaghticoke for a report of criminal mischief. The complainant stated that she and Marriner had an argument and that Marriner intentionally damaged a screen window. Marriner then and broke a ceramic plate by throwing it through an open window into the complainant's residence. Marriner also sent threatening text messages to the complainant. The Trooper located Marriner who admitted to the damaging the complainant's property. Marriner was taken into custody and processed at the Brunswick barracks. She was arraigned in the Town of Schaghticoke Court and released. Marriner is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
