Central Square Man arrested on Grand Larceny charges

State Police in North Syracuse arrested Vincent B. Cook, age 48, from 374 Route 11 in Central Square, NY for Grand Larceny 4th degree, a class “E” felony.
On July 25, 2018, an Oswego County couple responded to a Facebook Marketplace Advertisement regarding a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was for sale. Mr. Cook met the couple at his property located at 8024 Brewerton Road in the town of Cicero where he showed them the vehicle and agreed on a selling price for $2,397. The couple paid Cook in cash and agreed on a date of July 27, 2018 for delivery. On July 28th, Cook did not deliver the vehicle and has refused to deliver the vehicle to the victim.
On November 2, 2018, Investigators charged Cook with Grand Larceny 4th degree. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Cicero Court on November 20, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
On July 9, 2018, State Police in Hastings arrested Vincent Cook for Grand Larceny 4th degree following an investigation where he received $2,900 on June 2, 2018 for a 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck and refused to deliver the vehicle or issue a refund. Cook was issued an appearance ticket for July 18th at town of Hastings Court.
