Albany man arrested for DWI and drug possession

On November 1, 2018, State Police in New Scotland arrested 28-year-old Timothy C. Deyo of Albany, New York for felony DWI and Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 4th degree.
Early Thursday morning, Troopers investigated a single motor vehicle crash I-90 at exit 2. During interview of the driver, Timothy Deyo, he displayed signs of intoxication. Marihuana was also observed in Deyo’s vehicle in plain view.
Subsequent to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Deyo was arrested for DWI and marihuana possession, and taken to SP Guilderland for processing. There, Deyo was found to have a .12% blood alcohol concentration. Further, Deyo was found to have a prior DWI conviction within the preceding 10 years, thus making this arrest a felony. In addition, Deyo was also charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 4th degree, a misdemeanor.
Deyo was arraigned in the City of Albany Court and remanded to Albany County Jail in lieu of bail. He is scheduled to reappear on November 5, 2018.
