06 November 2018 Crash in Lewis leads to felony DWI arrest ![]() NEW YORK STATE POLICE

PRESS RELEASE On November 5, 2018, at approximately 8:36 p.m., State Police responded to Stowersville Road (County Route 12) in the town of Lewis for report of a one-car crash. An investigation at the scene revealed that a 2006 Toyota Tundra driven by Jonathan D. Rock, 30, of Rensselaer, NY, was traveling east on Stowersville Road when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a ditch on the north shoulder of the roadway. He was subsequently arrested for DWI. Rock was found to have a previous conviction for DWI. His blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%. Rock was charged with Felony DWI, and Felony Aggravated DWI. He was arraigned in the Lewis Town Court where he was remanded to the Essex County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, or $10,000 bail bond.
