State Police Investigators from Granville arrested 17 year old Hampton teen after a Cadillac Seville was stolen from a automotive repair shop in September from the Town of Whitehall.  The Investigation revealed that the teen was in debt to a drug dealer from Vermont and agreed to steal a car and bring it Vermont to resolve that debt.  It was learned that the teen had an unpaid debt of $80 and agreed to repay that debt by delivering a car to the subject and stashing it in a wooded area in Fair Haven where it could be picked up.  The New York State Police in conjunction with Fair Haven Police Department were able to locate the stolen Cadillac in a wooded lot behind the Fair Haven grade school.  The 17 year old male was arrested and charged for Felony Grand Larceny 4th Degree and Vehicle and Traffic violations for having no drivers license.   The State Police is asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact the State Police BCI in Granville.
