Car/Pedestrian Fatal- Village of Cobleskill

Last night at approximately 10:00 pm, New York State Police Troopers and BCI Investigators stationed at Cobleskill and Princetown were called to East Main Street in the Village of Cobleskill for a report of a pedestrian that was struck and killed by a Cobleskill Village Police marked patrol unit.
Cobleskill Village Police requested that the State Police conduct an independent investigation into this incident.
Troopers and Investigators including the Troop G Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene to begin an investigation.
The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Gerard Roldan III of Cobleskill, NY.
Investigation into this incident is continuing at this time and updates will be released as they become available.
