Four Arrested on Drug and Gun Charges and a large sum of money seized

PRESS RELEASE

On Thursday, November 29, 2018, the New York State Police Troop L Narcotics Enforcement Unit and Gun Investigation Unit, with the assistance of the Nassau County Police Department, the United State Postal Service, and the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, arrested four subjects following a long term narcotics investigation. Search warrants were executed at 27 Arrow Court, Central Islip, NY, 25 Penataquit Avenue, Apt. 1C, Bay Shore, NY and 39 Rhodes Avenue, Bay Shore, NY. As a result of the search warrants, marihuana, cocaine, and heroin were seized along with 2 handguns (one reported stolen from North Carolina), 1 pistol grip shot gun and approximately $33,000 U.S. Currency.
 
The following subjects were arrested:
 
 
Tristan Mitchell, age 28, of Central Islip, NY and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Violation of Probation.


 
Stefan Mitchell, age 32, of Central Islip, NY and charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana 2nd.


 
Daniel Williamson, age 33, of Bay Shore, NY and charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 1st, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd and Violation of Probation.


 
Christina Ali, age 37, of Bay Shore, NY and charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana 4th.
 


Christina Ali was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Suffolk County First District Court on January 02, 2019. The other subjects are being held overnight awaiting arraignment at Suffolk County First District Court on 11/30/18.

“This investigation revealed that these defendants allegedly sold large quantities of drugs, including heroin and crack cocaine, on Long Island and also possessed dangerous firearms.  This joint investigation, with our partners in the New York State Police, is ongoing and we anticipate more arrests.”
