UPDATE: State Police arrested 21-year-old Sierra D. Ackerman of Massena for failing to pay for the fuel. She was charged with Petit Larceny and further ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree. Ackerman was released with tickets returnable to the Town of Stockholm Court.
Original release: On January 7, 2019, at approximately 12:30 p.m., at the Country Corner Mart, 148 County Route 57, in West Stockholm, a gray in color vehicle left the gas pumps without paying for $20 in gas. The female driver of the vehicle entered the store after the female passenger pumped gas into the vehicle. However, the driver never paid for the fuel. The female driver of the vehicle was approximately 5'5" in height, with long brown hair, and wearing a grey jacket. The vehicle had two distinct stickers; a heart and a peace sign on the rear passenger side of the vehicle.
