Camden Couple arrested for stealing $7500 worth of tools from logging sites in Oneida County

On January 4, 2019, State Police in Sylvan Beach arrested 46-year-old, Lori J. Daily and 45-year-old, David H. Yager of 10020 Johnnie Cake Road in the town of Camden for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree (class “D” felony) and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree (class “E” felony).
 
The arrests follow an investigation into construction tools being stolen at several logging sites in the town of Vienna.  Approximately $7500.00 worth of stolen property from these sites were found at Rubicon Recycling on Tannery Road in the city of Rome.  Daily and Yager are accused of claiming to be the owners of the stolen property and receiving monetary compensation. 
 
Daily was remanded to the Oneida Co Jail on $2500.00 bail. Yager was remanded to the Oneida County Jail without bail due to previous felony convictions.
 
They are scheduled to return to the City of Rome Court at a later date.
