State Police in Queensbury arrested Ralph F. Charland, 33, of Whitehall, NY for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated in the Town of Queensbury on January 5, 2019. While on patrol, Troopers observed a gray Chevrolet Trail Blazer traveling west on Dix Avenue that was failing to stay in its lane. Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop and interview of the driver, Charland illustrated signs of alcohol impairment. He was subsequently given standard field sobriety tests and arrested for DWI. Charland was later tested to have a 0.16% blood alcohol concentration. Since there was a child in the vehicle, he was arrested for Aggravated DWI. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Queensbury Court on January 14, 2019.
