Brunswick Troopers arrest driver for DWI and drug possession

PRESS RELEASE

State Police in Brunswick arrested 54 year old Kyle L. Carlson of Troy for Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree early Sunday morning. Carlson was operating a vehicle on State Route 142 in Brunswick when he was stopped for a traffic offense. While being interviewed by the Trooper, Carlson showed signs of intoxication. He failed sobriety tests and was taken into custody. Carlson was also found to be in possession of a small amount of the drug Ketamine. He was processed at the Brunswick barracks where his blood alcohol content was found to be .10%. He was issued tickets and released to a third party. Carlson is scheduled to appear in the Town of Brunswick Court at a later date.
