Camden Man in critical condition following snowmobile crash in Oneida County

PRESS RELEASE

On January 10, 2019, at approximately 7:30 pm, State Police responded to 8690 Whiskey Island Road in the town of Camden for a serious injury snowmobile accident.
 
The investigation has revealed, a 1997 Arctic Cat snowmobile, operated by Joseph P. Beadle, age 52, from Camden, NY was traveling southeast on Whiskey Island Road when he lost control, exited the road via the east shoulder and struck a tree.
 
Beadle was partially ejected and became pinned between the snowmobile and the tree. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered massive head trauma. He was transported by North Shore Ambulance to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and was listed in critical condition.
 
The investigation is continuing.
