11 February 2019 Williamson man gets arrested for felony DWAI. ![]() NEW YORK STATE POLICE Major Eric L. Laughton Troop E Commander
PRESS RELEASE On February 10, 2019, Troopers out of SP Williamson arrested Robert J. Brooks, 36, of Williamson, New York for driving while ability impaired by drugs, moving from the lane unsafely, failure to use four-way flashers and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Troopers responded to a suspicious man on State Route 104 in the Town of Ontario. Brooks was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests. He was transported to SP Williamson for processing. Brooks was arraigned in the Town of Webster Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $7,000 cash/$10,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear on February 15, 2019 and February 21, 2019.
