NEW YORK STATE POLICE
Major Robert E. Patnaude
Troop G Commander
March 15, 2019 - SP Princetown
On March 03, 2019 Troopers stopped a car on N Ferry Street in the City of Schenectady for failing to stop for a stop sign. While interviewing the operator, Richard Glowacki, 44, of Rotterdam, the Trooper detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle, and observed other signs of impairment from the driver. They had Glowacki exit the vehicle and conducted roadside sobriety tests. The results of those tests were indicative of intoxication. Glowacki was taken into custody and was transported to SP Princetown. While at SP Princetown it was determined that Glowacki had a B.A.C. of .08%. He will appear in the City of Schenectady Court on March 14th.
