State Police seek public assistance with identifying an individual captured on surveillance photos

State Police in Sylvan Beach is investigating a larceny that occurred at the Runnings Store located on Rome Taberg Road in the city of Rome. On May 5, 2019, a male is captured on surveillance camera putting a DeWalt hammer drill (worth $159.99) down his pants and then exiting the store without paying.   
 
The male is described as a white male, mid 30s, wearing a black hoodie with yellow shirt, and blue jeans.  He was last seen leaving the store on foot towards the inner city of Rome.  
 
If anyone can identify the individual in the store security photos above, they are asked to contact State Police at (315) 366-6000.  All information will be kept confidential.
