On May 12, 2019, at approximately 3:20 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Telegraph Road at Fuller Road in the town of AuSable. An investigation revealed that a 2012 Kawasaki Motorcycle operated by Hayden S. Bell, 18, of Plattsburgh, was traveling westbound on Fuller Road while a 1995 Ford Mustang, operated by Keith J. Galarneau, 58, of Keeseville, was traveling south on Telegraph Road. Bell failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled through the intersection, striking Galarneau’s vehicle.

Bell and his passenger, Shiann L. Provost, 16, of Peru, were ejected from the motorcycle. They were transported to the University of Vermont Health Network at Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital in Plattsburgh for injuries to their extremities and internal injuries. Galarneau was treated at the scene for lacerations to his face and hands. This investigation is continuing.
