Aggravated DWI arrest in town of Colton

On May 12, 2019, at approximately 7:43 p.m., State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, on State Route 3 in the town of Colton for failure to keep right.
The operator, Cathleen A. Hanlon, 60, of Piercefield, was subsequently arrested for DWI. Hanlon refused roadside breath testing. She was also found to be consuming alcohol while operating her vehicle. Her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.25%. Hanlon was charged with Aggravated DWI and further ticketed for consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to keep right, and moved from lane unsafely. She was released with tickets returnable to the town of Colton Court.
