Georgia man arrested for criminally possessing four loaded firearms

Brooklyn, New York – On May 31, 2019, at approximately 4:10 p.m., a Trooper from SP Rockaways arrested Dennis Jackson, age 55, of Conyers, Georgia, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree (loaded firearm) - a class C felony.
The Trooper was patrolling the Belt Parkway, near the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, when a traffic stop was conducted on a tan-colored 2000 Chevrolet, operated by Jackson, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation into the incident found Jackson to be in possession of four loaded firearms, which were concealed in the vehicle under the center console and behind the rear passenger seat.
Jackson was arrested, charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree (loaded firearm) and remanded to Brooklyn Central Booking pending arraignment.
