Queens man arrested for criminally possessing checks and debit cards

Queens, New York – On May 31, 2019, at approximately 4:55 p.m., a Trooper from SP Bronx arrested Dymel R. Schand, age 19, of Queens, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree - a class E felony, Possession of a Forged Instrument - a class D felony and Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 5th Degree - a class B misdemeanor.
The Trooper was patrolling the Queens-Midtown Tunnel when a traffic stop was conducted on a gray-colored 2004 Infiniti G35, operated by Schand, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation into the incident found Schand to be in criminal possession of multiple checks, debit cards, and marijuana.
Schand was arrested, charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree (debit cards), three counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument and one count of Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 5th Degree and remanded to Queens Central Booking pending arraignment.
