Ohio man arrested for possessing marijuana following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

Junius, NY – On June 2, 2019, at approximately 10:56 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in the town of Junius for a vehicle and traffic violation. Upon interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established. The driver, Andrey Lyogky, 20, of Uniontown, OH, was found to be in possession of over 7 ounces of marijuana, 6 electronic smoking devices containing concentrated THC oil, and one vape cartridge containing THC oil.
Lyogky was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Junius Ponds where he was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor, and Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
Lyogky was transported and remanded to Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
