Arrested: Suspect who fled after accident in Kirkwood and ran from troopers in custody

Update 2: New York State Police have arrested the suspect that ran from troopers after an accident on Interstate 81 this morning. The male was located in a wooded area off Duell Road. More detail will be released Wednesday.
Update: New York State Police say the suspect was spotted near the area of Fox Hollow and Old State Roads. He is also accused of stealing an ATV. Troopers ask residents to remain vigilant and call 911 if they see the suspect. He is described as a white male with blonde hair, approximately 6 feet tall with a tattoo on his neck.
New York State Police are currently searching for a white male suspect who fled after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident while on Interstate 81 in the town of Kirkwood.
New York State Police at Binghamton were called to the scene of an accident on Interstate 81 in the town of Kirkwood just after 11 a.m. The driver attempted to flee the scene by jumping into the bed of an unsuspecting pick-up truck then further evaded troopers by fleeing on foot into a wooded area.
A further investigation revealed that the Audi the male was operating was reported stolen in Florida. The suspect is described as a white male with blonde hair, approximately 6 feet tall, a tattoo on the side of his neck.
Uniform Troopers, Members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Members from the K9 unit and aviation are searching for the suspect in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact SP Binghamton at (607)775-1452 or 911. Do not approach the suspect and call 911 if he is observed.
